Before Sending a PDF, I Always Remove a Few Pages First

I have a small habit now: before I send a PDF, I quickly flip through it and remove any page the recipient should not see.

It sounds overly careful until you have made that mistake once.

A contract scan may include your own notes at the end. A report may still contain internal discussion pages or pricing assumptions. A resume package may include extra materials that fit one role but look strange for another. Keeping those pages can look unprofessional, and sometimes it exposes information that should stay private.

I used to send the whole file because deleting pages felt like a chore. Now I clean it first.

I use DocCrunch Delete PDF Pages. Drop the file in, click the sensitive or unnecessary pages, then export a clean new PDF. I keep the original for myself and send the cleaned version.

The practical reasons

• Precise deletion. Remove only the pages you choose, while the rest stays in order.
• No watermark. The output is a normal PDF, not a file branded by a random tool.
• Free and no login. A quick cleanup should not require an account or subscription.
• Local processing. Pages are handled in the browser, so contracts, scans and resumes do not need to upload to a server.

I now treat this as a tiny pre-send checklist item. For contracts, quotes, resumes, reports and client documents, ten seconds of cleanup is much better than realizing too late that the wrong page went out.
